What does shared VR look like in 360°?

TRAVERSE

Traverse is a platform that provides short educational videos (five to fifteen minutes) in 360 degrees. More than that, it provides a moment in the week for family to get together and have a new experience together. So while being physically together, they are also in the virtual world together discovering new things.

AT A GLANCE

The app does this by connecting the parent’s Netflix account with Google Cardboard. What is different about this 360° experience is that the family can see each other’s Memoji in the video itself. Through seeing each other inside the virtual world while being next to each other in the physical world, the composite experience becomes more natural and less dissociative.

TARGET AUDIENCE
Families with young children
